[UBUNTU] Modify A Text Generator Script

We have a working script that generates a list of file based on added date. It can be found on the attachment.
What we would like to modify :
1. Generate file with .xls extension instead of .txt
2. Add // in front of each lines.
3. Replace \ with / so that the generated address becomes a clickable filepath
4. Ensure it's working correctly daily in our ubuntu machine
