SEE ATTACHED .DOC FILE I'm in need of a AJAX based fast chat/messenger application, for 1 on 1 communication between people in online list. Explanation: Left column: newly entered users last 10 minutes Middle column: All users, with 3 buttons on top of column to sort on ABC/province or to show the list as small pictures Right column: Profile of currently selected user (showing all user fields) Functional requirements: - On login, the picture is cached on the server in 2 sizes, one for profile (max 300x400) and one for picture list (max 100x200), both should maintain aspect ratio. - If i click on a username, the profile opens to the right - If i click on a username, the ‘To' field is filled in (who a message goes to if ‘send’ is clicked) - Clicking on ‘x new messages’ opens the last received message in the message box. - The profile of the person you open a message from gets opened. Quality/other requirements: - All words should come from wordlist (that i can translate) - At least 1 line of documentation per 10 lines of code - As light as possible server load by using ajax and caching so the application can scale up to 1000 users. - first version should be simple but functional (with ajax requirement!) Requirements on company or programmer: - Done similar project before (screenshots or online demo) - Years of programming expierence - Expierence with AJAX - Expierence with flash communications server (for next version) - Development method XP(-like) - Communication style: don't ask too much of my time - You should be able to proof that your solution scales up to 1000 users Requirements on solution proposal: See below.

Requirements on solution proposal: Post you reply as text, not as attached .[url removed, login to view] should answer to these points in this order (no standard template please): - Tell me what language(php/asp.net), components, existing code and standards (i.e. css, xhtml, ruby) your going to use. max 150 words. - Explain how you’ll use ajax/caching on the new/full user list for max performance (server is bottle neck), should be short and clear story, max 150 words. - Prove that you match all 'requirements on company' from list above. max 300 words. - Don’t propose functionality I didn’t ask for yet (like admin) - Days required (realistic one, i'll cut on funds if you don't make it) and when you can start - Your fixed for price for poject (post as bid) - Your price per hr for optional extra work. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
