** Important News **
We have went throught already two other coders who were unable to complete this project , only BID if your experienced in creating a web grabbing application and also experienced in PHP editing.
- What we need done :
We need someone able to create a web grabbing software that will grab information from desired web sites and have the info inserted into our DB/Forum. We are grabbing everything from sites we select and need this program to run very smoothly and quickly , the program would need to run 4 times daily ... meaning it should auto run every 6 hours and gather new info automaticly.
- What it's grabbing is mostly text and we need it inserted into our forum in WYSIWYG format , everything done to the signatures people leave. We need at this moment to have the program grab text and information from 25 sites. We will list the sites to you ONCE you are accepted and are able and ready to work. The sites that this program will be taking info from will all be message boards or forums. A fast list of things we need to be grabbed - Actual text , avatar , ate and time the same , signature and also the exact way the message is setup (meaning paragraph's and such ) ...... When everthing has been gathered we then need it all inserted into our forum. We need everything inserted and looking like the orignal. When inserting the data we need you to customize several things in our forum and PHP , things like making the forum sort all new post and replies in time order. For some reason when mass inserting data , Our forum would have post and times mixed up , it was actually going by the order posted then actually the time of the actual post or reply from source. * This is something very important and you need to be able to handle.
When inserting we need things like signature added , same avatar the person was using on orignal site ( we would just need linking image url , were not going to host everyone's avatar) Then we also we need to have the exact URL address that this post came from .... so members or visitors could have the option of visiting the source.
Once again the program would need to run every 6 hours by it's self and would only search for NEW post and replies !! Don't make the exe search throught everything . . . it should search by that date only and gather all new post and replies like that.
Then there is more PHP'ing like editing a few things like the home page showing the latest threads and the most popular threads .... plus other php coding to fit our personal needs . . Stuff like have that option we needed before about members allowed to view the forum source , , also on the forum index and thread pages we need the source company named displayed next to each of their post we have displayed on our site. .. . There is more details we can supply later , BUT this is the heart of the project and gives you and very good idea of what we need and want.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING WE LIKE WORKING ON THE PROJECT WITH THE CODER SO A MESSENGER LIKE YAHOO OR MSN WOULD NEED TO BE USED FOR US TO COMMUNICATE.
How we need it delivered >>>
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
