Our client needs a browser-based vocabulary builder program built. We are pretty sure this is a mysql type of project. In general, this is how it will work. There will be vocabulary words and their meanings. The vocabulary words are in groups. Students can drill themselves on the words. Each group needs to be tested as a group. Basically, the student can choose to drill as many groups as he wants or drill all the words. The words need to be randomized in the drilling process. The program needs to be able to track if the students knows the word or not. If the student knows the word, then it gets categorized as short-term memory. The word stays in Short-Term Memory until it is known 5 times. Once it is known 5 times the word moves into a long-term memory categorization. The student may choose to drill all new words, short-term memory words, or long-term memory words. There need to be on-line drills, exercises, and quizzes. These will be from worksheets we will give you. These drills, exercises, and quizzes must be in a format where they are student specific ??" a student logs in and takes the drill, and the drill is graded by the program and automatically dumps into a grade book. Moodle has this capability. The teacher needs to be able to weight the various drills, exercises, and quizzes. So the teacher can go into the program and say that the drills are worth 10% of the student's grade, the exercises are worth 75% of the student's grade, and the quiz is worth 25% of the grade. (or whatever weight the teacher wants to make the various component parts). This gradebook needs to be easily converted into CSV so that the teacher can download the grades and then input them into whatever gradebook program she is using at school. ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
