You are bidding on the chance to create two (and a half) banners which will become a legendary part of internet history. -Standard sized web banners. -either two .gif banners (and simple, “extra?? combinations of the two), or one .gif and one Flash banner (see below) -High quality, artistic, professional, web-optimized photos or graphics, and simple text. -After designing the banners, I will refer to them here as “A?? and “B??, a “30 minute?? mini-project is required to create banner “C?? and "D". All you will do is save a copy of “A??, then take the text layout already created for “B??, and use that text on the beautiful graphics of “A??.
## Deliverables
(Banner “C?? is just a combination of the work you already completed). (Banner “D?? is the text from banner “B??, easily placed into a standard size banner I provide. Only the text is “animated?? on banner “D??, or at most, one background change) Important details: Here is an example of Flash I will NOT be pleased with (I’m referring to the middle of the page, one of four boxes, lower left hand corner) [url removed, login to view] (Please, also, see the note below regarding the .gif on the same page) To me it looks like “cookie cutter??, garbage flash, and I would never click on it. If you do not understand this, or lack the skills to avoid it, please, do not bid. FYI, about the blinking text on the upper right hand .gif: The animated text for my project requires something attention getting, worthy of a historical moment, and much more beautiful, original, and creative. I don’t expect you to be a “million dollar ad-agency??, but honestly, if I had the time, I could do much better than the examples I’m showing to you. The optimized banners need to load quickly, even on dial-up (56k), and still look good. Concept and text: Start with a photo, or “photo and graphic layout??, including a stunning picture of the ball they drop in NYC at midnight on New Years Eve. The ball does not need to cover the entire banner, this is one area you can be creative. The ball itself should move very slow, I want people to see, and read, the text. (FYI: No “cheesy?? disco ball picture, I want it to look beautiful) If the following section is not written clear enough, do feel free to ask questions: (NYE graphic) Text= This New Years Eve (NYE graphic) Text= will you be (NYE graphic) Text= watching the ball, (switch graphic to a photo, and background I provide. Your job is to use the exact photo (and background), no further optimization, and find a good spot for one or two very small lines of “stable?? background text, or I will have placed it already) Main text= (details provided to winning bidder) (same graphic just described) Main text= (details provided to winning bidder) The other banner "B" will be similar, with only one or two unique backgrounds, and text, you design, (and also place the same text in a banner I will provide. This other mini-project is banner “D??, see above). You must be fairly easy to get a hold of, at least the first day or two. Thank you. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
