366745 Dating site w special features

I have never sourced any web development work and have an existing business that I would eventually like to hire an overseas developer to do some work on for me, but I would first like to do a side-project with a developer on here to establish a working relationship with, then we can progress to working on my main business's website.

The site I am looking to have built will be a dating site (for users 18 years of age and over only) and will be adult in nature so as a developer you will need to be comfortable with this. There will be no vulgar elements to the content that we create for the website however the user generated content can/will be graphic in nature.

I do not know what the best open-source software is to create a dating site in and I know there are some special features I want on the site that I have never seen on any other site like this, so let's discuss the project. I prefer running on a Unix platform but would not be opposed to ASP. I do like the snappy response of sites done in well coded Perl/FastCGI

but in the end, I just want it to work well and do what I want it to.

I have posted a listing for some custom work to my main business' website however as I stated above, I want to do a project from scratch with a developer from here and build the trust I need to have someone from here work on my main site.
