The company I work for uses a webbased time entry system called ETES. Managers require your time be put into this webbased system daily prior to 12:00pm Monday thru Thursday and before 10:00am on Friday. The website appears to be developed in xml and is a very simple site, you select the project you are working from a drop down menu and then enter your hours for that day. For example: The first time you login to the system you select your project, and then select Monday and enter your hours, 8 hours is the maximum hours you can enter into the system per day, so the hour entered everyday will always be "8". On tuesday you login and type an "8" press enter, and save changes. On wednesday you login and type in "8" and press enter, and save changes. On thursday you do the same, on Friday you login and type in "8" press enter and submit time. That is the entire process, since this website required the use of internet explorer and a broswer. Most likely a simple query/post can be performed and will be a very simple project. Otherwise it may need some type of executable/script that needs to run prior to logging in that controls the mouse and performs the task. My goal is to make this a unix script that I can run in a crontab to be a scheduled daily event to post my "8" hours on the website and save changes. I look forward to talking with anyone that thinks they can knock this out quickly.
