Online Product/T-shirt/Brochure Designer tool experience is a MUST!
Ok so the app will essentially be built around this: [url removed, login to view]
But instead of having a regular image in the back of the editor, we will have an image with multiple MASK areas, this is where users will be dragging and dropping fabrics/material/texture to change the look of the clothes in some areas. (See attached PSDs)
Super admin in the backend when creating product will upload a PSD [url removed, login to view]
Bottom layer of the psd will be the product. everything above will be used to create a custom droppable mask area [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]
This way, people can drag and drop different background patterns that will only render within the boundaries of that mask.
The whole thing will be saved the way the editor mentioned above would normally save. (So a certain amount of customization will be needed once the project start, like dragging and dropping is preferred over just clicking to add to canvas)
But for now, the test is to simply:
1. Import a PSD that has 2 or more layers, use bottom layer as PNG of shirt that is being edited
2. let the tiny layers above the bottom layer define masks that users will be able to see patterns through when he's in edit mode.
If you can do this, the project is yours. the rest is common silly CMS stuff.
