The project is to design and create a new WP theme for an existing joomla-based site.
The existing product range is to be ported from the current site to a new demo site on my server.
The gallery must be ported to a new gallery in wp that also supports video, (please make recommendations).
The technique section must be migrated to it's own blog category. Same with newsletter, trade/retail enquiry form, but they're to be moved to a menu in the footer, along soime provided links.
News needs to be it's own blog category.
The retailers must be section must be migrated to an equivalent module in WP (please make recommendations).
The front page needs a slider that supports text overlay, (please make recommendations). You will be supplied with 2-3 images and captions for each.
You will be working off a very basic design brief and the existing site, you will be required to submit a mockup before going ahead with porting the content.
Once the existing content has been ported, there will be a followup project to add a few new products and product variations.
