Apply Registry Settings For Windows XP/Vista Visual Effects

I have a software application which i want to create an [url removed, login to view] the problem is, i want the XP/Vista visual effects set to "Best For Performance Option" inside my installation.

For this i used the Registry key value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects\VisualFXSetting to [url removed, login to view] the changes does not affects eveni restarted the PC unless i manually click on the apply button.

I want a way to changes appied [url removed, login to view] is a 3 mins work for some one who has done this before.I don't need any [url removed, login to view] tell me how i can do it in a reply as the deliverable and funds will be released to the wining bidder.
