I need a developer to create a section of code within a PHP RESTful API that will run on a CentOS server. The basic API file will be provided, without database code. The database exists in Azure and the CentOS server IP has been whitelisted. You will be provided FTP access to the API file which will can only be run from the existing server.
I need an API that can connect to the MSSQL database on Azure, using provided credentials via a driver to be specified by the developer. The required driver must be compatible with the requirements outlined herein. The driver will then be installed for the developer (The developer will not be involved in installing the drivers).
1. The API will include a function to call a stored procedure with input parameters, that returns a result set.
2. The API will include a function to call a stored procedure with input and output parameters, that returns a result set.
3. The API will include a function to extract a named field in the resultset, to a variable in the API. This will only be used where one row is returned - that is one value (int) will be extracted from the resultset and converted to a variable.
The API will JSON encode the resultset. The JSON_encode is already provided in the API file. The developer will pass the resultset through the JSON encode.

This project is for the development of a template only, with two stored procedures. The template will be further developed in a separate project later to call other stored procedures.
One "on completion" milestone payment will be agreed.
