Develop Web-Based EEG Browser for Analysis of Large EEG Data

BRIEF PROJECT SUMMARY
Looking for a software developer who can contribute to the development of a very fast web-based EEG browser for the analysis of large EEG data (50GB or more) that is stored in cloud or on server. We currently have a prototype that is written in JavaScript. The version works well (without time lags) only when data is down-sampled.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review current version and develop a fast web-based EEG browser that works well with big data
· Modification of codes on the current version to accommodate large data without the need for downsampling
· Rewrite the code for the browser from scratch in another language if required
· Incorporate user friendly annotation features for spikes or other EEG patterns on the browser
· Work closely with the team to incorporate early adopters’ feedback through the addition/removal of features
· Troubleshooting and de-bugging
KEY SKILLS
· Proficient in more than one development language ( JavaScript, PHP, C#, C++, SQL)
· Ability to communicate clearly
· Eye for detail, identifying problems and problem solving
