Display pre-built JPG images on TV that change based on time and weekday

Hello,

I need to be able to use a dedicated computer to display its output onto a large TV screen that the customers can see. I need to be able to load JPG files onto the device and set a schedule for when they display. For example, for a restaurant, a lunch menu JPG automatically goes on at 11am, and then a happy hour JPG automatically goes on at 4pm, and then a dinner menu at 6pm. All of the menus will be provided and uploaded to the device.

The software has to be smart to know if any time settings/files have been modified and update the screen instantly. This is so that the admin/manager can update the menu, hours, features, etc. It also has to be able to recover from a lost internet connection gracefully. You don't have write any code if you can find an existing solution and implement it.
