Chrome extension to insert data into HTML elements and then press submit/enter

I require a google extension that will insert specific data that is highlighted into a specific HTML element on a website. It is used so that I can search things faster. The website should be already open and it should open a new tab. This will need to be done for 3 websites at the moment. Code should be clean and allow for edits in the future by other developers.
