cURL alternative, postfield and cookies with fsockopen

I heard it is easy, but I haven't gotten around to learning fsockopen.. What I need done is I have been working with myspaces API, and I wrote a cURL function to login to my myspace account, well, right now I can't use cURL and a few people have told me to use fsockopen(); I need it to have postfields and such.. here is the cURL that I have used. I just need fsockopen function to do the same exact thing and produce the same results. it has to be able to enter postfields and have cookies, I attached what I have for the curl code that needs to be converted to fsockopen
