Implement Elasticsearch and replace built in search and facet functionality of website

We need to implement Elasticsearch in our website. The website have been developed in php (codeigniter) and mariaDB.
We have a cloud instance of kibana and elasticsearch already installed.
There are 2 document types with different schemas: Projects and Persons. There are separated sections for each type.
Our search sections must have
- Autocomplete input
- Facet and Filtering
- Pagination
- URI Search
- Ordering: Date, Popularity, Rating
Home page and top menu must have a seach input.
The developer must maintain the same graphic design of the website
