Requirements for Magento Customer Service extension
Mirkovic Group runs one of the biggest search engines for customer services, existing in 24 countries. We want to integrate our site by adding a widget where you can rate the store’s customer service directly in the contact page in Magento.
Requirements for the extension
- Activate/deactivate extension
- Be able to choose which of our sites to connect the widget to
- Get available sites and countries [url removed, login to view] when the extension is installed. Doing this by simple scraping the list on that page.
- We also need an update button for updating that list since we are expanding the number of countries all the time
- The user needs to specifiy the company url on our site for example: [url removed, login to view] The exension will verify that the page exists and if not it will get an error message that says “The company does not exis on [websiteurl]. You need to add your company to our service [websiteurl/add]”.
- If the company exists we want to get an email to our email that a new store has activated the extension
- Once the connection is set up it will fetch the number of votes from that company page on our site example: [url removed, login to view]
- We also want to fetch the rate form from the same url and include it on the magento contact form page (see attached screenshot). And be able to post ratings to our system with same validation as on our page
- The design of the contact form needs to be responsive
