We are looking to contract to a freelance sales person to sell memberships for our non-profit sustainability advocacy organization via phone/email/postal or directly.
Compensation would be paid on a commission basis for Gold/Platinum Memberships sales. The sales person would be an independent contractor with no additional benefits.
We are looking to contract to one (1) individual (no internal sales competition). We presently have a small membership base, but many strong connections within our industry and a strong brand. We are internationally focused organization, but would prefer to focus our sales efforts presently on the United States, and in particular on landscapes, landscape companies, golf facilities, equestrian facilities, municipalities, and municipal and community park managers and owners.
We have never had a concerted sales campaign before, and all membership sales up to this point have come from word of mouth, branding and marketing, and/or dumb luck.
A passion/experience for the the environment/green living and sustainability is important.
Commission to be paid:
30% of Platinum Memberships: Commission = $75 per Membership sold
25% of Gold Memberships: Commisison = $25 per Membership sold
Incentive Bonus -$1,000 extra for every 50 Platinum Memberships Sold.
* Memberships can be sold to ANY Business or Individual.
