## Deliverables

Hi,

I am using SSRS 2008 and have two priority issues which need resolving.

Problem 1 - Sub report table cut off:

Table cut off: I have a report which contains a subreport, this is required as there are a number of multi-parameters which are passed through to the report which is configured and displays individual project reports correctly. The issue is that when once the report is deployed and run in IE the report is cut off at different points (there are two tablixs).

Please note:

1) The subreport when run by iteself is fine, only when contained in a parent report do we see this problem

2) The parent / subreport would fine within VS BI on the server, the prolem occurs when viewing the deploiyed report in IE

3) Once deployed I can view the page source and see the hidden content, however the page footer is showing where the data should be.

So, I need exact sizes and details to allow a parent and subreprt to dislpay correctly (landscape). My report also has page breaks between projects (which is working fine).

Problem 2 - Split a database cell:

I have an SSRS report which displays distribution lists based on a selectable multi-value "Roles" drop down. Here is an example of the data:

EmailAddress Role

<1@[url removed, login to view]> Dentist; Designer; Painter

<2@[url removed, login to view]> Dentist

<3@[url removed, login to view]> Painter

<4@[url removed, login to view]> Designer; Poet

The purpose of the report is to return a distinct list of email addresses based on the selected Role(s) (SSRS report parameter).

E.G.

Selecting Dentist returns: <1@[url removed, login to view]>; <2@[url removed, login to view]>;

Selecting Painter returns: <3@[url removed, login to view]>

My current SSRS SQL (see below) works if a user is in one Role, but does not return records where there are multiple roles (i.e. <1@[url removed, login to view]> above). So the question is how to write the SSRS SQL so that it can return the correct results.

Here is the current incorrect SQL, it needs to be changed or advise given so that SSRS can query multiple roles in one SQL field:

SELECT

[E-mailAddress] + '; '

FROM Contacts

WHERE [Role] IN(@Role)

ORDER BY Title ASC

FOR XML PATH('')

I am unable to show my data or environment due to security - you will have to detail the changes for me to apply and test.

Thanks
