Manipulation of a SQL Database of a SaaS CRM for data re-categorization -- using REST API access
PROJECT: Note: This is as a result of improper classification of data in a previous CRM system that was not corrected during the conversion from one CRM system to another)
Remove 3 instances of Category / Values -- "tags" from a WRONGLY inputted multi select table and re-tag contact records using a newly created properly "done" Category using REST API access to our CRM database. In other systems from a user stand point, I could search all the records of a wrongly inputted tags that should had their own appropriate Category and Values and Create a New Category and Values and do a Mass Update / Edit to re-tag them. Then compare that they have been re-tagged right down to the exact record and then delete the original tags. I need to do this 3 times for between 5-20 tags for 3 Categories and Values (1. Profession (4-5 different professions) 2. Licences (about 12 different provincial licenses) 3. Certification (about 10 different certifications). Then I need to move the remaining Category and Values (Skills) to the proper place on the Contact record interface. There is about 30,000 records that we have in this part of our database. I would expect this to take around 20-25 hours from needs assessment to data mapping to test to execute. It would be needed to be done over a short period of time to minimize our down time in the CRM database.
