We have a DirectoryContact object written in VB6. This object includes addresses, identification numbers, phone numbers, etc.
We need code that can create this object from a vCard 4.0 file, and save this object out to a vCard 4.0 file.
Project includes:
1. Writing a parser that reads vCard 4.0. Must be able to read unicode!
2. Map properties from vCard format to our object. Freelancer must supply an organized table showing how each property from vCard 4.0 is mapped to our system.
3. For properties that includes a sub-type (e.g. PhoneNumber;Type=home), we will supply a function that returns a dictionary which maps vCard sub-types to our sub-types.
4. vCard properties that we do not support will be saved in a "Properties" dictionary in our object, and can be saved back into a vCard on demand.
Freelancer must know appropriate RFCs (2425, 2426, 4122, 4770, 6350, 6473, 6474).
We will use our own system to test the code, so there's no need to supply a test app.
