Kickass UI/UX designer for spiritual hindu saint's website

We have a spiritual website for a hindu saint and we would want to refine its UI. Currently the site is made using Codeigniter, so if you have experience with CI then its fine but not required.
Overall our priority will be making a KICKASS UI for the site upto mark with the modern standards.
I personally love flat design and/or parallax scrolling, but would love to hear from you about other options as well.
In your proposal do send some samples of UI work you have done.
If you can just get the mockups/designs done then also fine.
Overall we want it to be really fantastic and out of the box.
