  also if you wish you can cover the entire section with larger banner getting scaled proportionately suiting every screen resolution of different users globally with this larger size banner... just an additional thought :)

  actually designed the banner double the original size, so its looking larger, #11 will be exact size ( half the size of #9 ) you wanted for the banner, also this can be adjusted to the other size you mentioned by reducing the height factor...
