Accounting and Bookkeeping

For small educational organization, we need an experienced accountant to keep our books and file regular reports on an on-going basis. Tax filing not required. We use Quickbooks for accounting and usually have less than 150 items for filing each month. We have two companies where one is owned by the other, and we need accounting support for both companies. You have previous experience with corporate accounting in the US and can work with and take instructions from experienced C-level professionals (CEO/CFO). You will not be required to file taxes, but if you have such skills, we consider that an advantage. Company is a virtual organization with management located in Europe, India, and USA. You will work from home and we will pay you on an hourly basis for your work each month. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Each month you will receive items for filing in QuickBooks, which you will file on a regular basis. All transactions must be filed no later than 10 days after the end of the month and you should ensure the financial reports are available no later than the 15th after the end of the month. 3) You will report directly to the CFO and receive instructions from the CFO. ## Platform We use QuickBooks as well as Google Apps. Your transactions for filing will be recieved in email, but we may implement direct importing from PayPal or other payment processors.
