I run a web hosting service and have extensive site setup experience. If your project is standard php with a mysql database, it can be loaded to a shared hosting account and a domain name assigned to it. If it runs on specialized software, we will need to set up a VPS for it. No big deal, but it will increase the project's cost.

Hi There I'm sure you are expecting high traffic to your website, which is why you're opting for AWS. Unlike other hosting providers AWS works in quite a different way. It provides you with all the building blocks to setup a high performance web-cluster. i.e. everything needs to be configured from scratch. And by everything I mean networking, security, autoscaling, routing traffic to database servers and vice versa, Storage.... down to DNS mapping. BTW I'm a super expert in AWS.
