Actually this will be prototype for an actual remote monito application not for security camera system
Basically, Android Client will remotely monitor Windows 7 PC
Windows 7 PC will stream both audio & video to Android Client
Windows 7 PC Streamer will map it's screen to the mobile terminal (which Android Client)
the user of the mobile terminal will interact w/Windows 7 PC and will be able to control the Win 7 PC [login to view URL] is purpose
Requirement:
Android Client and Windows server
Desired Application General Specification
- Application should be directly based on Splashtop Android Client and Windows Streamer
- Open Source library modules for Splashtop can be found at [login to view URL]
Server Side Specifications
- Capable of streaming and delivering real-time video and audio to remote users /remote Android Client
- The server side application should map the screen of the mobile device from the screen of the remote computer, so that users can interact with the remote computer using intuitive touch-to-click controls and zoom in using the pinch gesture.
- User authentication is needed (Login screen)
- When video is streaming from server side (one or more than one video screen is streaming), the server should NOT stream/broadcast any other screen(pixel) information to client side for the efficiency of the screen monitoring at client side.
Client Side Specifications
- The client side application should map the screen of the mobile device from the screen of the remote computer, so that users can interact with the remote computer using intuitive touch-to-click controls and zoom in using the pinch gesture. Gestures are used to replace mouse and keyboard controls. For example, a two-finger drag gesture is used to scroll within windows, generally mapping to the mouse wheel controller.
- User authentication is needed (Login screen)
- All related client side sensors of Android should involve in the application.
Transport Side Specifications
- The application can perform connections between the devices via (initially) WiFi.
- Transport should be over UDP
- High performance Mobility Access: up to 60 frames per second video and less than 30-millisecond latency, yet with lower power consumption.
- Datalink for the server side should be monitored and according to the link quality, the server should stream the data depending on this link quality information.
hi.. i already have the complete application build for windows,linux(java server) and android(client) for controling windows by android and also a chat application in which android can send messages to server
applications features:
1. remote desktop view and control
2. send messages to server by android client.
3. send a single file to server Desktop.
4, recieve a single file to device by draging a file on username displaying on server.
5. sync server files to all connected clients.
