I believe your project is very doable in the mentioned time but I would need more details on whether all the information would be kept locally on the user's device and whether there would be no user-to-user interaction. As far as I understand all the pin descriptions and photos would be kept on the user's device and he/she would be able to see only their map/info, correct? Also, do you have any design for the app? Like, what UI would be used to enter the description, the photos, etc. I've been dealing a lot with the Material design guidelines and I might be of some help with that aspect too. I have done this kind development in android before, I can do that when the user set the pin location show a dialog that lets the user to write the description, and as a dialog button putting the option of take or select a picture, and if you want, that picture can be the icon of the marker in the map
