AUTOMOTIVE (Optimisation of a powertrain)

You are required to present a report in the style of an SAE paper detailing the optimisation process on the powertrain (engine & transmission) of a Rover 25 1.4 to compete in a road race competition. The design should meet the following requirements  Suitable to enter the ASWMC Hill Climb Championship Class A1.  The engine must be petrol fuelled and naturally aspirated.  The transmission must be manual.
