I just finished an other programming assignment in C language. The freelancer that hired me is waiting to see his teacher resaults to accept the project as completed because I finished realy fast. I am a physics teacher and I have done programming since 1998 (teaching students)

Basically you are implementing a lexer on foot. If you can use regex it would be a piece of cake, but I suppose you can't so it becomes a bit more complicated.
