I have a new installation of Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (SIP) on a 2901 and need some configuration assistance and review. I would like to start with a 2-3 hour block of time via zoom or webex. Work can be performed either during the day or evening. I will watch, learn and ask questions so good communication and teaching skills are necessary.
We can add additional hour based on need, skills, fit and teaching/communication skills.
2901 and 2960X is setup in lab environment. I will integrate with production network in the near future.
Phones
(1) 7861
(18) 7841
(2) 7821
So far, base configuration is setup with:
Base switch config (2960X) setup with data/voice vlans
802.1q trunking from switch to router
DHCP option 150 setup
tftp server firmware setup and (3) phones registered.
station to station 4-digit dialing setup
Outbound dial-peers are setup for one fxo port
Inbound dial-peer setup for one fxo port
Need assistance with completion of setup for (3) phones and I will replicate on other phones. Need:
inbound dial-peer rollover to 2nd, 3rd and unity
outbound dial-peer rollover, i.e., if line one is in use, roll over to line two for outbound calling
Button appearance- extension and outside lines as required
Extension appearances on 7861 phone
Overall configuration validation, codecs, voice quality, debugging, etc., as current voice quality on a voice call is low (can barely hear each other on call)
General questions and configuration changes
Time permitting, begin Unity installation
Communication via phone or conferencing ([login to view URL])
Desired Skills
Cisco, Unity, Cisco CallManager, SIP
Good day!
I have read your project tasks, fully understand your needs, and ready to take on this project. I'll be grateful to you for attention and ready to discuss about your project as soon as possible.
I have a lot of experience of system administration Linux / Windows-servers and infrastructure products (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet etc.).
Thank you!

About me
About 7 years I worked as system administrator at a company that provides SaaS-service from Microsoft and Linux/Windows VPS-service. Part of my job is related to the migration of customer services "in the cloud". I also have extensive experience in the installation and support VOIP-based systems (Cisco, Avaya, Asterisk, Freeswitch, etc).
Hi,
I have been working with Cisco VoIP since 2001 and Asterisk and freepbx ,trixbox, elastix since 2007.
I'm very new to the site so trying to bid as low as possible and get better reviews as much as possible.
That being said in addition to simple VoIP I can do magic with Cisco phones :) starting from 7911 series,
Also can do CME integration to Asterisk for Voicemail(as unity is very expansive) and any other SIP trunking provider.
this "can barely hear each other on call" might be just because of codecs,
also kindly let me know how much PVDM do you have?
kindly let me know when can we have some time to chat so that we can better understand the project scope.
Have experience in design and implementation of Cisco Unified Communications: Unified Communications manager, Unity Connection, Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Unified Presence, Mobility, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), CallManager Express, Unity Express, and other IOS based voice features. I have a lot of successful installations and support Cisco VoIP without TAC.
Right now I am practicing for my CCIE exam and working on 29xx router for configuring CME;
The project description exactly matches with my practice;
Hence I am 100% confident on this task and I am sure I'll not disappoint you in this
