We are in process of hosting a hacking course and the labs for that course consist of 15 VMs. Each student need these VMs to be spun up for them dedicatedly. We thus want to hire a cloud architect to help us guide this project. We are of the opinion that we can host this on Amazon's cloud and pay it per hour (as needed).

I have been working in some similar project the last year. My client was ( ) , we deploy one Proxmox Server ( it's a virtualization platform ) on Amazon EC2 medium instance. We deployed our own template and create the instances, the cost per month on AWS was 105$ and we hosted 25 instances without problems. Anyway I could create a new template , create the accounts for the user and associate it to your bill account using IAM and permit to your accound user deploy , start and stop all the instances of the other users account , that's permit to reduce the total cost of your labs.

Currently Managing 34 VM's in AWS and 15 on Azure. Expert in Automation of creation, Startup and shutdown of the instances. Powershell knowledge and other orchestration technologies like ManageIQ. Can also work on reducing cost by showing the best possible option.
