Hello, I am looking for Beta Readers to offer me any advice they usually give, whether it be suggestions to improve the book, spelling, grammar, character issues, plot issues, tense problems, etc. I am open to any and all critiques.
This is my first novel and is fairly long at around 105,000 words. Please don't let that turn you away, I believe it to be a book that will catch and hold your attention.
I have offered a little summary of the book below to hopefully pique your interest:
"Ben and Hector are two scientists who have developed an underground lab somewhere in Nevada, with a virtual reality simulator in place. These two have big plans to use teenagers as their pawns in simulations that will be viewed by wealthy men and women who have paid to watch each show.
Teenagers used in the simulations are drugged and have no memory of the simulations. Eventually, the drug use leads to violence and strange behavior, leading to intervention from local police.
Enlisting the help of a questionable citizen, Ben and Hector will do anything to keep their operation quiet."
I would prefer if you have proven experience Beta Reading for novelists in the genres of either true crime, science fiction or young adult. Erotic readers need not apply, thank you.

Hello. I'm an English Literature student with a minor in Film Studies. I personally write horror fiction, psychological thrillers and science fiction myself. My reading is all over the map; I like pretty much anything, so long as it is well written. A manuscript of 105,000 words, however, is a lot for only $30. If you'd like some earnest and, most importantly, useful feedback, then I'd have to bid at least $250 for my time. There's no need to pull the trigger on this right away, though; I'd be willing to have a conversation with you about your manuscript and our individual philosophies on writing fiction.
