I need a case study for a company that wants to implement a small network, buy workstations for employees, install some printers etc. Six tasks are required to document, suggest equipment etc I need at least 2 pages for each task Fluent english please ## Deliverables A small family business enterprise called “Japanese Car Spares?? which imports and distributes Japanese car spares has a total of twelve (12) full-time employees. Ten (10) of them are office (white collar) employees including one with supervising responsibilities that actively participates in the enterprise's daily business activities. The enterprise is housed in a new building and occupies two spacious adjacent rooms of about 80 m2 each. One of the rooms is used for storing spares while the other provides office space. All the employee offices are located within this room and are arranged “open space??. Up until recently, the enterprise had only two old PC computer systems which were only used for spare parts stock control while all the other enterprise services (accounting, payroll, costing) were carried out by outsourcing. Given that “Japanese Car Spares?? is a family business, supervising recently passed to a younger family member. One major change that the new supervisor immediately introduced was the purchasing of a separate PC (workstation) for every user-employee. The rationale behind this decision was that the introduction of PCs would make the business more competitive and increase personnel productivity. There isn’t any type of network installed and the computer systems are not interconnected in any way. All the employees underwent a basic short training for using their PC , the operating system, and the application software both of which have been installed in different separate copies. The need for exchanging application data files among users arises quite often during the working hours and it is carried out with the use of a diskette, a CD or a USB stick. There are two printers available and each one of them is connected to a separate PC. To print a document, an employee must use the specific PC to which the printer is connected . The file to be printed must first be stored on a diskette (or CD), and it must then be transferred to one of the PCs to which the printer is connected . Only the supervisor’s PC has a dial-up Internet connection line. All users who want to access Internet or e-mail (for business purposes), have to ask specific permission to share this PC during office hours. Elementary first level help and technical support is provided by the dealer from whom the PCs were purchased. Given that the number of customers has increased during the last months and that there is a need to expand the firm’s dealings with more purchasers in Japan, the supervisor decided to ask the official opinion of a Computer expert, as yourself, on how to implement in the form of a report, a peer to peer network to cover his company’s needs. Which are the network manager’s responsibilities related to his job tasks with regards to network security, administration, maintenance and network user management ? How can network users provide responsible use of network computer systems, devices and resources? Finally, include another separate section in which you list and discuss the various control measures and mechanisms (both technical and non-technical) a network manager must take for ensuring an effective and successful management of network users and of the network in general with regards to the aspects mentioned in the previous paragraph.
