You should have some experience in writing A+ level research papers in MLA format. You would also need to research a topic on the internet to support your research paper. You should also know how to cite sources properly, both in-text and on the Works Cited page. You should, definitely, be comfortable with the writing process:- I. Pre-drafting II. Drafting III. Revision IV. Editing and proofreading Preference would be given to those who have done the ENG102 course or any other similar English course. I will provide you with the course materials and additional reading materials to complete the assignments. You would also need to read an entire novel(in digital format) to base your writings on. I will provide this novel too. You would be expected to follow through an entire course, progressing in stages and implementing corrections to your writings. This is a 10+ week course and you would be required to complete 1 writing assignment per week for at least 7-8 weeks. The research topic for this course is "Effects of Genetic Engineering" and the novel is a fiction novel based on the same topic. You would also be required to create a 8 slide PPT presentation to support your research(due in one of the very last weeks of the course).
