Hello, This sounds like a really great project and I am very interested in taking it on. I owned my own travel agency for 4 years. We dealt exclusively in European travel and predominately in weekend city breaks.. I was the marketing and communications manager and part of this involved writing the travel guides. I traveled to and researched heaps of European destinations and compiled detailed guides with summaries, advice and reviews of hotels, events, tours, attractions, restaurants, activities and so on. I also wrote and administered an affiliate blog. Search 'TheTopTipsforTripsBlog'. Since then I have moved into communications and marketing more generally, though have always retained a keen interest in travel journalism and in the industry in general.
