Database creation

I would like to create a database of 100 shipping companies (initially) with as much contact information as possible for the Company Security Officer (CSO) at each. Data should be in a spreadsheet, CSV or Excel fine, and consist of the following data-points: [ * Required, ± Preferred ] Company Name * URL* Company Phone * (with country code) CSO Name * CSO Email ± CSO Phone ± Mailing Address 1 * Mailing Address 2 * Mailing Address 3 Mailing Address 4 * Mailing Address Country * Most data available on the web, though in some cases might need to call for CSO name and contact. We need to have contact details for each CSO. In order of preference - a direct email, a direct mailing address, a phone number; at very least one piece of data. For help in research : Company Security Officers handle all aspects of ship security across the whole organisation, ranging from health and safety to anti piracy initiatives. Sometimes they have other titles *in addition* to CSO (most common are "DPA - Dedicated Person Ashore" or "SSO - Ship Security Officer"). My suggested route for research would be to start building a database of shipping companies (easy to find lists by Googling "list of shipping companies") and following URLs through to websites to find CSOs for the easy ones. Thereafter look to LinkedIn (very well populated with CSOs, make sure you search under current titles though, not previous experience). Of course the fastest way is to phone them up... There are around 10,000 records out there somewhere which we'd like to go after eventually so initial small project size is just to test the waters with researchers and feasibility. That's all!
