C programmer able to work with mbed - repost

Data needs to be used from X-plane flight simulator, such as speed, fuel, oil levels (apparently can be done using plugin SDK [login to view URL]) With those values, the mbed needs to turn on a light when a value is below a a set limit i.e speed is lower than 30m/s. Also need a report into all aspects of how it was achieved including any relevant theory behind it. Have more information on the specifics behind it.
