Interface a LM35D temperature sensor with a PIC24HJ32GP202. Temperature to be displayed on a 16x2 LCD screen and must be HD44780 compatible. I can supply the original c code for basic interface between the PIC24 and LCD. Code must be written with the XC16 compiler. I can also supply the schematics for the LCD hookup as well as the pin that the sensor will be connected to on acceptance of the project. Also will provide the LM35D schematic which equates to a Degrees F conversion. Basic requirements will be to read the voltage from the LM35D and using an ADC convert that voltage into a temperature to be displayed on the LCD. Also would look for a simple if statement to trigger a pin based on a certain temperature range. If there is any other information you may need please let me know.

Is this for university project or you just need to see it working on PIC24 ? Its too heavy for the required job and a simple PIC16F/18F or even 12F can do it efficiently... yes may be with some external opamp it could reliably show the temperature with one decimal point. I use for my own purpose which shows the temperature nicely. Lets discuss more in case if you need to know something more. Thanks
