I have columns of numbers that right now are being recognized as text in [login to view URL] column consists of a position during a lap of a race in a [login to view URL] have a small group of bicyclists that like to chart their [login to view URL] numbers are separated by a (/).The numbers before the (/) represent where the bike was to the leader,the number behind the (/) represents the lengths behind the [login to view URL] 4/[login to view URL] would mean the bicyclist was in 4th place,4 lengths behind the leader or 4/4Q,which would be running 4th, 4 1/4 behind the [login to view URL] is five columns(lap1,2,3,4,finish).What i would like is the number before the (/) in one column and the number behind the (/) in another [login to view URL] have them recognized as numbers so i can add and subtract the numbers.

Ok I finished writing the macro. Needs some fine tuning as some criteria was not defined in your comment. Here is a screenshot of the result
