convert a fortran program to C++ or VB

Hello, I have more than 15 years of Fortran coding experience. Please send me the Fortran code you want translated to C++ (C++ is a better target than VB, it will keep the code as fast as the original and portable) in order for me to understand how much work is involved. Yes, I grew up as a programmer on FORTRAN 90/FORTRAN 77. I now code professionally with C++ and VB.NET. I can assist you with this project, I am actually very excited about it. Depending upon how much work is required it may not cost that much or if its really intense then you are getting a deal! I propose to convert your FORTRAN code to either C++ or VB for a period of 5 days. Normally I charge $130/hr, so 5 days x 8 hours/day is 40 hours for $1500 USD is actually $1500/40 or $37.50/hr that is a screaming deal I might add, lol! Just don't tell my other customers! If it goes beyond 5 days then my rate jumps up to normal rate of $95/hr. I am also insured up to $2 million for your safety, I can provide your company with a certificate of insurance as well. Please, give me the details before give me the project.... I want to know if the fortran program is too large... if it is only a numerical problem.... if it has some interface. Just let me know... I use fortran for about 40 years, VB since windoes 3.1 (20 years?). Several times I combined this languages. The user works with the input in VB, the calculation is in fortran, the user sees the output in VB or excel or text files. This is the simpliest and cheapest way for you. Of course it's possible to migrate the complete fortran code to VB, but this depens on the fortran code. If this is written in the spaghetti style with several GOTO it will become rather difficult time-consuming. Is it possible to mail the code to me? My hourly wage is 42€. Hi. I have university degree in compurer science. One of the first programming language I learned was FORTRAN. Then was huge experience in developing sotware system using it.
