Animate images(repost)

I have attached a pdf of 10 images that require animation - you need to create a series of GIFs (as this series is required for a video) and then use some program which can make them flow so that they can be used as slides. Ideally I should be able to use this in powerpoint. I have the original files in illustrator, which can be editted. You might want to do animated GIFs - but will that work in powerpoint?
