Hello! I would love to create the logo for you, I currently work for the hospitality market so a lot of my designs are featured around food! I would keep it fun as it's for students and really casual but also with a hint of professionalism. I can throw a few different ideas at you since you don't really know what you want as well. If I was to get awarded I would give you 3 initial designs that you could then pick one from to develop to the final - I don't have a limit on revisions as long as they are reasonable.
