Creating an online course registration system for students

REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS STUDENTS [login to view URL] should be able to login with an username or email. [login to view URL] about the student: Name, Surname, Major, Semester, University, International Student (Yes/No). The system should be able to send E-Mails to students. Students have to check the link to activate their account. [login to view URL] are able to choose and register for courses. [login to view URL] the course registration, they should be able to enter in Exercise Groups in the courses. Each course has 2 or 3 exercise groups. There should be a chronological order, which is defined be the timestamp function. (first come, first served) [login to view URL] students are registered in group by accedent, they should be able to re-register and enter another exercise group, if there are free seats. [login to view URL] the deadline there will be no re-register/logoff for students. [login to view URL] system has one waiting list, where the students are able to enter the list, if the requested group/all groups are full. Students should enter the information (date, time) of the desired group. Also there is a field for comments for each student. [login to view URL] is another waiting list for repeating students. (repeating waiting list) (The same like Nr.7) Repeating students are students, who had the course in previous semester, but have not pass the course. [login to view URL] are not able to enter a exercise group, if the exercise group has no empty seats. If some students will sign out the group afterwards and there are empty seats, this options can be made: a. The first student of the waiting list will be signed in the requested execise group automatically. This case is not prefered for repeating waiting list. The students who are in this list will be controlled manually by the professor. b. The exercise groups will be shown as full. Signing in the group will be controlled manually by the professor. ADMINISTRATOR [login to view URL] system should have an Admin panel. Admin should be able to login with an username or email. The system should check in the database if the username is an admin or not. [login to view URL] a course. Also check for each course if automatically or manually signing in the exercise group from the waiting list. [login to view URL] an exercise group in courses: a. Number of Groups for each course b. For each exercise group: Informations about the professor, time, room and nummer of seats (for each group it could be different nummer of seats. Normally 15 seats for each group). Afterwards changing the group seats should be possible. [login to view URL] the students from courses/groups. Also move students in the waiting list. [login to view URL] the naming list of the students who are registered in courses/groups. (.csv file) [login to view URL] the end of the semester, courses should be closed. The students who are registered in exercise groups will be exported in the repeating waiting list. Deleting all exercise courses. [login to view URL] the list of the repeating waiting list. [login to view URL] Students should be register in courses/groups whether there are seats or not.
