Hello, A friend and I are developing on a new social networking website. We have chosen to take a rather simplistic approach to serve our market so the website doesn’t have a lot of pages and features; but the purpose of the platform is to bring people together and build strong vibrant communities so we believe that the user experience and the look of the site are critical business requirements. We have already frozen the information flow and designed all main page layouts but the whole thing requires major artistic beautification. There are twenty pages layouts or so, most of them are similar to one another, all are “pre-designed” and we have some suggestions to make for the new design. Our new design must have a strong web 2.0 feel (twitter, vimeo, wufoo) The project scope will emcompass : > Beautifying the existing layout without touching much the architecture of the page (improve the various elements of the pages: font, links, icons, buttons, colors scheme, background, sliding publisher, stream look and feel, feeds…) > Finalize the designing of all pages (settings pages, about us, invite new...) and designing of various pop-ups (light boxes)... > Registration process re-design > Splash / welcome page design (Next project : Marketing material : flash demo, flyers, stickers, brochure...)
