I have two possible proposals. 1. A pure HTML and Javascript solution, which will determine if the URL is operational. 2. A .Net web application, which will be able to check if the URL is operational. It may seem like these are doing the same thing, however the distinction between them is that one uses a Server language : C# which checks connectivity from 'YOUR' server, to the destination URL. The HTML / Javascript solution will be from the 'VIEWERS' machine, to the intended target URL, because Javascript runs in the Browser, not on the Server. I can develop either solution, however the .Net solution will come with the additional cost of hosting, which you yourself will need to supply long term after the project is over. I can however host temporarily free of charge in order to demo the web-site for you.
