7 days in Istanbul! Perfect! SultanAhmet is a definate must but the tricky part here is there isn't many 5 stars hotels.. lots of amazing boutique ones. As for the seaview in Istanbul, I can only think of of a few along the Bosphorus ( a river really).

I would love to find the best hotels for an exciting stay in Istanbul. I worked 7 years for a vacation house agency where my daily responsibility was exactly that kind of work: The guests gave me the details of the vacation house they were looking for (for example: 4 bedrooms, max. 3 km from the sea, terrace with seaview) and I had to find the best match. After 7 years I am an expert in finding the best place for a client. I travel a lot and I have lots of experience to find accomodations on the internet, searching for the best accomodations and reviews of other travellers to make sure the hotel we will choose is the correct one. I am planning to do some internet research and to use my personal circle of friends who might have personal recommendations for hotels. Most of them are as well professionals in Tourism and/or travellers. I do have some questions: You wrote your dates are from the 17th of August until the 25th, that would be 8 nights instead of 7 nights. Would you like to split up your stay in 4 nights with seaview and 4 nights in the city center? And you would need 3 triple rooms and 1 double room? Is that correct? I am an American who has been living in Turkey since 2008. I speak Turkish well and have spent time in Istanbul working and living. I have traveled all around Turkey with family and friends. I will be in Istanbul on Weds. to accompany my niece back to the airport. We have been traveling with her and my grandson. Please let me know more about what you want to do and see in that time. How many people for each room? 2 adults and 2 children in a room etc. Do you plan to see Sultan Ahmet area? I can give you suggestions about about getting around the city also. Will you go by taxi or use the metro? Will you go to the princess islands? I can advise you on the best museum cards to buy to save money. We spent 2 weeks in Istanbul, both on the Asian side as well as the European side, thereby visiting both Old Istanbul and New Istanbul. Modus Operandi: I would obtain some additional details from you in regards to the composition of the ages of the adults and children taking the trip, and the total budget planned for the hotels.
