Da-Com for comparing the two data sets like files, tables etc.

High level requirements of the Da-com project are: Overview: The main objective of this project is to prepare a product named Da-com which should install on user’s desktop and do following activities: The system should open and ask user a user ID and password. The system should open a user interface with “Menu Bar” and a “Task Bar”. Menu bar should have following option. File (Connect Source, Connect Target,Compare,Report) Window (Source, Target) Reports Exit Task bar should have the icon for the following items ​​Connect source Connect target Compare Report User clicks on File>Connect source; system opens up the box to enter the source details. User enter connection name, User ID & password and click on Connect button. System connects the user to Source system with and opens up a window with two frame, left frame with a temp database "DaCom" browsing for table & in right hand side a pane to write a query. "DaCom" is not the source database it's the temp database (may be mysql) to save the query result as table. User writes a query in right hand side pane & runs. ​​I query runs successfully, system displays the option "Do you want to save the result of this query as table?" User click on "Yes" it ask the user name & valid name query result should be saved in DaCom database and should be displayed at LHS browsing window table. Result should be displayed at the bottom of window. User clicks "No", Result should be displayed at the bottom of window. User should click on the File>Connect Target. Step 5 to 8 should be repeat. User clicks on File>Compare. Compare box appears and ask user to chose "Source" & "Target" tables from the database "DaCom". User selects the tables & click on compare it does following. ​​​​There are different number of columns in source & target table >> System displays a message "Column Difference, tables can't be compared", compare aborts. There are same number of columns in source & target, system runs "Source-Target" & "Target - Source" query. System ask user "Do you want to Save a result". If user clicks yes it saves two tables in "DaCom" database. System displays in two different panes in bottom. If user selects "No". System displays in two different panes in bottom. User click on File>Report, Report should popup in .txt format with following information. ​Source count Target count Source-Target count Target-Source count How many records (lines ) have mismatch. Features: ​​Application must connect to internal datasets of "Datastage". Application must connect to the file (comma separated) in the way it connects to the database tables and perform the same operations it does for table. Application should have a Andriod version from where it should able user to trigger the job only by selecting source & target. Application should able to be connected to HP QC.
