Append data to Gridview ASP.NET

Hi, If you are using MS SQL 2008 or above as Database , I can do that by getting only the rows needed from the database table if I need the first 10 rows then then only 10 rows will be retreived from the DB, and if second 10 rows needed , then only the second 10 rows will be retreived, and so on.
