I have successfully implemented 3 big projects in Ionic 2. I have got good confidence over Angular 2 on which Ionic 2 is based upon. The most recent builds of Ionic 2 are supporting Angular 4. Over a period of six months I have developed a data service layer in Ionic 2 which makes the inter page communication in Ionic 2 a breeze. This data service layer will make the life cycle of project easy when the project grows in several pages later on. Believe me understanding the concept of Reactive programming in Ionic 2 is not easy.
