We are reposting this project as communications with the bidder have not been sucessful, and we need to add two important items to the project.
This project is for a tablet device with a screen resolution of 1080p. It will run on an Android device running 4.2 or newer. It is a two part project:
Main App:
This app must contain a full-screen WebView, with double-tap zoom turned off and objects scaled correctly.
-Receive & send Google CCS messages. Upon receiving a push message, the application will need to download the specified URL in the message (the URL being a remotely hosted ZIP file). The password-protected ZIP file needs to be downloaded and extracted to the sdcard directory. Once the ZIP file is extracted, the app needs to send a “download confirmed” message to the CCS server. The filename of the zip file should be stored in a string that is accessible when the app is closed and reopened at some point.
-Detect if a USB Flash drive is inserted. If it contains an .apk file: copy it to the sdcard directory and launch the Secondary App. If contains [login to view URL], call a blank function (placeholder).
-Developer should setup a simple working CCS server example (PHP is preferred).
-NEW: When an HTML form inside Webview is submitted (could be 20-30 a day), store the contents in a text file/CSV and upload them when a network connection is available. (this is to capture leads when the device is out of network range).
-NEW: When a user holds two fingers in the upper left corner of the screen for a period of 5 seconds, load a specific URL in Webview.
Secondary App:
-A separate application will also need to be developed which, when opened, will close the Main App and copy a .apk file from the sdcard directory and replace the existing Main App .apk file (in other words: very basic application updating functionality).
